About Us
The Avondale Impact Coalition was formed in 2026 to bring together individuals and organizations from across the City of Avondale to strengthen youth substance use prevention efforts.
Our coalition brings together representation from key community sectors, including youth, parents, schools, businesses, law enforcement, healthcare, faith-based organizations, civic and volunteer groups, youth-serving organizations, state and local government, media, and organizations involved in reducing youth substance use.
By bringing different perspectives, experiences, resources, and community connections to the table, we are better able to understand the needs of Avondale’s youth and families and develop prevention efforts that reflect our community.
Our work focuses on collaboration, education, community engagement, strengthening protective factors, and creating opportunities that support young people in making healthy choices and reaching their full potential.
The Avondale Impact Coalition believes lasting change happens when the community works together. Every sector has a role, and every voice can help strengthen prevention in Avondale.
Mission
Creating a lasting impact by uniting the City of Avondale through collaboration, prevention, education, and community engagement; strengthening protective factors allowing youth to reach their full potential.
Vision
A thriving Avondale where every individual and family has skills, confidence, and support needed to build healthy, resilient futures.
